WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?

Together we can decide on a perfect location for your family based on your personalities and personal style and preferences. This might be a golden sunlit field, an urban downtown location or your own home. All newborn sessions are held in the comfort of your own home.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?

The best time to schedule a maternity session is around weeks 30-35 of your pregnancy. This is when you’ll have a nice round bump and are still feeling great.

Newborn sessions take place within the first 10 days after birth. Let me know as early in your pregnancy as possible about booking your session. Since we rarely know when babies will be born, I always leave extra room in my schedule around your due date to schedule your session after delivery.

I prefer to shoot outdoor family sessions around the hours of sunrise or sunset.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

What you wear at your session makes a huge difference in the outcome of your images and this is one of the questions clients ask me most before a session. Most importantly, you should dress in a way that you are comfortable and feel great about yourself. For families, it’s best to choose within a color palate rather than everyone wearing the same color. Limit patterns to one or two members of the family and avoid characters or logos on clothing. To make your session even more gorgeous and effortless, I highly recommend our styling services (hair and makeup).

WHEN WILL I GET MY IMAGES/HOW WILL THEY BE DELIVERED?

We live in a digital world and I know the importance of having all the digital images from your session. Your images grow in value over time to you and your family members and that’s why I want you to have them all. For all life style sessions, about 2-3 weeks. Weddings take a bit more work, and I get those photos back to you in 3-4 weeks! All of my sessions include a custom USB with all of your full resolution images as well as the option to purchase beautiful professional prints.

DO YOU OFFER PRINTS?

Yes. Within two to three weeks of your session, I will email you a link to an online gallery where you can share your images with friends and family. Your gallery will be available for 4 weeks from the date of the release for you to download your files and purchase any desired professional prints. If you have any questions pertaining to the print release or finding the best lab to have your images printed, please contact me.

WHAT PRINT FINISH SHOULD I GET?

The short answer is that if it will be behind glass or will be handled like wallet prints, you will want a matte or lustre finish for best and long lasting results.

DO YOU TOUCH UP ALL OUR IMAGES?

Yes I do. Every image I deliver is post produced with my unique signature style of post-production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections.

DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE YOU SHOOT?

No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. I might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure I have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment.

DO YOU PROVIDE PARTIAL WEDDING DAY COVERAGE?

Yes, I do provide partial day coverage for weddings. Wedding Packages start at $899 and are customizable to your needs. You can see all of my wedding packages pricing information on my website here

IF WE CANCEL THE WEDDING, WILL WE RECEIVE OUR DEPOSIT BACK?

Unfortunately no. Deposits are used to reserve your date. Once I’ve reserved your date, I do not accept new clients for your date.

DO YOU HAVE A TRAVEL FEE?

There is no travel fee for services within 25 miles roundtrip of my home location. If your location exceeds this, I will work with you to determine the appropriate fees to cover my travel expenses.
